Hello,

I got a problem with my reverse proxy under Apache2, all was working with alfresco 5.2 but can't find any articles to help me.

When I trying to access on my alfresco I only got:

Service Unavailable

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

Connection refused: AH00957: AJP: attempt to connect

So any help will be fully appreciate.

Sounds like you're dealing with a headache! Moving up from 5.2 to 7 can be a real pain sometimes, especially with the reverse proxy setup. That error message you're getting is a classic one, and it usually means there's some mismatch between Apache and Alfresco configs.

If you're considering upgrading from 5.2 to 7 with a reverse proxy, it’s a pretty smooth move, but there are a few things to keep in mind. First, make sure your server environment is ready for the upgrade – it can be a bit of a jump, especially when handling new features. I’d suggest checking the Fast proxy setup for any compatibility issues. It's suitable for handling traffic between services and can be a game changer in boosting speed. Don't forget to test everything in a staging environment first to ensure you’re not missing anything significant. Overall, though, upgrading is worth it for the better performance and new features.
