Unable to find/search user in the Site - But I can find from admin tools

Hello Everyone,

              Kindly help to resolve user not found error.

But i have created user id. i can view the user id  in admin tools, but unable to find/search user in the site. Kindly help to resolve the issue.

Hi,

Once i had solved this issue by doing full solr reindexing.

But, again i am facing the same problem. i have noticed that after accessing the solr admin panel and optimizing, again 

i am getting the same problem. unable to locate user in any site and unable to search any document uploaded recently.

Kindly help.

Hi Leela N‌

Have you created the user manually or user has been created automatically from a external subsystem like Active Directory?

Look if user has surname property filled. Share application doesn't show users who has empty this value.

                   we are not integrated Active Directory, we created the user manually.

I am also having this issue. We seem to have this issue with user accounts that were created manually and imported from AD. As a workaround, we have found that adding the user to any group in Alfresco allows the site to find the user account.

Were you able to find a solution?
