During a standard installation, you should have been prompted to create a password for the admin user. People often use "admin" there.
If that password is not working, there is a good chance that the content repository that runs behind Share did not properly start up.
In order to get help, you need to provide more information.
- What version of Alfresco are you using?
- How did you install it?
- What error messages are you seeing in the user interface?
- What error messages are you seeing in the logs?
