EDM Module for Alfresco

The Formtek EDM Module is an Alfresco certified extension to the Alfresco data repository and Alfresco Share, and the ADF-based ACA / ADW applications, and offers a secure solution for managing vital engineering information. The EDM Module includes a custom content model for the Engineering Document and Engineering Drawing content types. These content types define metadata fields that can be used to associate data with engineering documents and drawings stored within the Alfresco repository.

The EDM Module also extends the capability of the Alfresco repository to transform DWG, DXF, DWF, DGN, IFC 2x3, and IFC4 file content into PDF (preview), PNG (thumbnail), and JPG (image preview) formats.

The Formtek Engineering Data Management (EDM) Solution for Alfresco is now certified on 6.2.x.  Formtek EDM allows for the management and viewing of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and IFC files in Alfresco.
