Alfresco 5.2.f has the blog feature. In your Share site you click "Customize Site" then drag the Blog from "Available Site Pages" to "Current Site Pages" as shown below...

The blog functionality in Alfresco Share is meant to use as a team communication tool. It has very basic functionality. If you are trying to find something to use for a corporate blog that faces the public Internet, for example, you should look at something else such as Wordpress.
In past versions of Alfresco, there was a feature that allowed you to publish from the Share site blog to an external blog tool, like Wordpress, but that functionality has been removed from the product.
