Warning when Installing AMP for forms management

Hello,

I am new to Alfresco. Reading about the form-model-management add-on, if I understand it's purpose, it seems easier than editing all that XML. So I thought I'd install it.

I am trying to installing the AMPs for form-model-management and the fm-share extension. When running the command I get a warning that some existing alfresco files will be replaced:

Adding files relating to version '2.0.1' of module 'org_alfresco_module_rm'
06250000 ERROR: The amp will overwrite an existing file in the war '/WEB-INF/lib/alfresco-rm-2.0.1-147.jar'. Execution halted. By specifying -force , you can force installation of AMP regardless of the current war state.

Is this warning expected? Should I use the -force command? Or should I go back to the developer and notify him that something has gone amiss?

Hello,

based on that log information, you're not only installing the forms management extension, but also the Records Management extension. And it seems you're installing it into the same WAR that you have previously installed it to. At the moment, this does not seem to be an issue with forms management and you should just stop to try the re-install instead of using the -force parameter.

Regards
Axel

Yes! Thank you. I did not recognize that file. I searched some more and found that the RM amp was located in a subdirectory within my Downloads area and was being installed again. Things are working now.
