hi everybody,

firstly sorry for my english i'm french ^^

secondly my problem, i have an excel file and it's lock (by me admin) for offline editing and i can't delete or modify this file…

this file was create and open by me (always me ^^).


and i need help to delete this pretty file and understand why i can't do something white it.

Bonjour f @ ure,
Pour supprimer le fichier verrouillé tant qu'administrateur en plein air dont vous avez besoin pour aller à la bibliothèque de documents où se trouve le fichier, puis cliquez sur le fichier. De là, vous devriez voir une navigation sur le droit que vous pouvez cliquer sur annuler l'édition. Cela devrait corriger pour vous.

In order to delete the locked file as an alfresco admin you need to go to the document library where the file is located and then click on the file. From there you should see a navigation on the right that you can click on Cancel Editing. That should fix it for you.

i already try this method and it's always the same problem ==> i can't delete this file ^^

Is there any error message when trying to delete? Any log files that could give some insight where the issue might be?

Hello,

as in the subject, did you:
  1. go to the checked out document
  2. click on view original document
  3. click on cancel edit there?

If you did that, solution is here:

4.2.d doesn't allow you to get into that situation, but 4.2.c and earlier do.
