'Sites' button

Good day

I'm totally new to alfresco and still on the testing stage whether it will suffice our requirements.  I am experiencing a minor "nuisance" if you may call it but the "Sites" button would not function properly.  Please find attached screenshot for a better understanding of what i mean.  this happens when a user logins and when users click on "My Dashboard", the only way for it to work is to click any other button e.g. people, repository and the "Sites" button would show an arrow beside it which is an indication that i can click it.

Any reason why this is happening?  i'm using 4.2c on ubuntu 12.04

One question both of these images are for same user account or diff?
What I think is drop down arrow is visible only when current logged in user has access on multiple sites.

@kaynezhang - thanks for the info. I would like to try the latest but would that solve the issue?  i don't see it in the buglist or fixes

@mitpatoliya - yes both images are from the same user and has rights to access multiple sites.  I thought of that also but after several test issue still persist.

is there a log file / steps so we can debug the issue?

I'm using 4.2c and it works fine for me on FireFox (latest), Chrome and Safari on a Mac.

I suspect a browser issue.

I was also using 4.2c for evaluation and site button was working OK. I would suggest to clear your browser cache and try it

@rjohnson - have noted your comments and tried viewing the site on different browsers and platform.  still same issue

@niketapatel - cleared cache. still same issue.

i am willing to provide an access to the site if one would like to see the issue.  i'll pm the login details.
