Share_Site_Creators Add-On

Hello,

I have been trying to install the aforementioned add-on on a 5.0.d instance without success.

I followed strictly the instructions on github although and I did not manage to get it to work.

I downloaded the .zip file at git-hub, extracted to a folder, ran 'mvn install' and then I got few errors regarding goal and maven repo.

I tried then with 'mvn clean install' and I managed to get it built and create the AMP. Afterwards, I pasted the AMPs at …/alfresco/amps and …/alfresco/amps_share and ran bin/apply_amps.sh.

At the end of the process, when I try to login to share I got credentials issues (can't login with admin/admin). I tried to reach localhost:8080/alfresco and I got 404 error.

In general, can somebody please build the AMP to me??

CE Version 5.0.d

Thanks in advance.

Try with this pre-compiled artifacts https://github.com/angelborroy/share-site-creators/releases
Download both and paste the AMPs at …/alfresco/amps and …/alfresco/amps_share and run bin/apply_amps.sh.

You are using main git branch, but you should user 5.0.d git branch

Thanks, Angel!

I will give it a try and as soon as I get it tested, I'll come back to follow up the results.

Regards!

Thanks, Angel!

I managed to get it deployed to Alfresco with the AMPs your provided me. I definitely don't know why I could not build my own AMPs, It's working now though!

Taking the opportunity: I would like to know what should I do before applying AMPs to the WARs? As I'm always having issues with this process, being unable to relaunch Alfresco and the only way I found to resolve the situation was by reinstalling fresh.

Best regards!

There is no special instruction to apply AMPs to Alfresco, just only use provided tool.

You can install, uninstall or list installed AMPs on your WARs (alfresco and share). Maybe a look at http://docs.alfresco.com/community/concepts/dev-extensions-modules-management-tool.html can help with your problems.
