Separating sections of web project

Hi,

I'm evaluating Alfresco for use for a small business web site, and i have a question regarding the WCM functionality:

Is it possible to separate your web project(s) or alfresco repository such that different sections of the same website are managed separately.
For example that a user who is responsible for posting news content is not directly bothered with the rest of the web site structure. This to avoid users being confronted with the complex structure of the entire website. Preferably also seeing just the web forms that it needs to post news.

Yes it is possible.   Perhaps the easiest is to have two web projects.   One for the site structure the other for "news" articles.

I tried this approach, but a downside is that these projects can't be deployed to the same location because the previous deployment will be completely deleted.
Or am I missing something?

Yes.   Two deployment targets.
