Hi
I have created few records with RM. Is there a way to search records based on record identifier?

We have an option in the records search to search based on attributes. Is there any syntax or example for searching based on attributes in RM?

Thanks
- Jay

The search information is included in the User Help, available from within the product. If you click on the Help link (? icon), you will see the Share help, which includes all the Records Management help.

Thanks to Helen Mullally fir this one.

I checked out the help section in share and it was helpful. I was able to search records based on content criteria like title and originator successfully. However I am not getting any results when doing a search based on unique record identifier

For example when using rma:identifier:2009-000000058 as search query doesn't return any results.

Any idea?

Thanks
Jay

Note: In search query there is no whitespace between colon(Smiley Happy and value.

You'll need quotes around that like this:

rma:identifier:"2009-0000001161"

I think this is actually a string value and so needs this, but perhaps it should be more forgiving.

Thanks! it worked after enclosing in quotes as below

rma:identifier:"2009-0000000750".
