We have been importing aand exporting spaces. Th error has come up:
"More than one root node in index: 2"
and a bootstrap failure occurs.How can I get rid of this problem.

Tony - please email support@alfresco.com.  I believe this was a known, fixed issue.  Support can follow-up with you on the details of the fix / planned fix.

remove all in the dir.root dirctory when you Caused by: org.alfresco.repo.search.SearcherException: More than one root node in index: 2

eg: dir.root=./alf_data

I'm trying to deploy Alfresco 2.1 on Tomcat 6 and I have the same error.
I have copied alf_data/hsql_data (that I find in \alfresco-community-war-2.1.0R1) in Tomcat/bin folder.
