passthru and sync in 3.4a

i am working in a company that have 200 employe,that all of them intend to use of alfresco.
i upgrade my alfresco from 3.3g to 3.4a
i have some problem in this version:
1- I couldn't run passthru(although run it in last version)
2- i couldn't active sync (not in this version and last version),my apprehension of sync is–me as administrator can see all of alfresco user in my company whether login to alfresco until now or not in administrator Console–>manage user Group,if i am right!–

i am so appreciate that help me as soon as possible
