Outgoing eMail difficulties.

I've added the following lines to alfresco-global.properties but eMail does not appear to be sending (invites)

Version is 4.2.a

notification.email.siteinvite=true
mail.host=smtp.mycompany.com
mail.port=25
mail.username=john.smith@mycompany.com
mail.password=P@55word
mail.encoding=UTF-8
mail.from.default=john.smith@mycompany.com
mail.smtp.auth=true
mail.protocol=smtp

all the usernames, mailserver and password are correct (changed here for security). Have I missed something?

Looks ok.   But the email settings are specific to your mail server.

Are there any errors in your log files.
If not then also check whether you server has incorrectly treated your email as spam.
