Non-localhost Web fails to connect

Hi all,

I have installed Alfresco 3.4 on RHEL5. 

I can connect to the alfresco session just fine running either firefox or lynx from the Alfresco server itself:

http://alfrescotest.my.domain:8080/share

However when i execute the same URL from a different machine  I cannot connect.

I can ping the hostname and ssh into the server via hostname.

Any thoughts?

Issue resolved:

Had to explicitly stat port 8080 in Linux OS Firewall,

also to get things moving I set SE linux to permissive.
