Hi All,

In my application the document's modified date is future date . It is almost 1 month ahead of current date.

The document created on 29th Jul shows it's modified date as 39th Aug.

I have checked the server date and it is correctly set.

Please help.

Hello,

have you checked the client date? I have seen issues with the "relative date" display in newer Alfresco versions when the client clock was off too much, e.g. a file just created was stating "Created just now" for a couple of hours (until the clock offset has elapsed).

Regards
Axel

Thanks for your reply.

The documents are coming into alfresco via Email as attachment. Then they are moved to other folder which is mounted to ABBYY server for OCR. Till now everything is ok. After the OCR done it places the documents back to alfresco via a mounted drive. Then the date modified runs 1 month ahead then current date. It happens only with the PDF only. The email body has correct date.

I have checked the system date where the OCR take place and it is also ok. I also have checked for any rule written on folders but there are no rules.

Thanks.

Hello,

hmm - it sounds very much like there may be something off with that OCR <=> Alfresco integration via the mounted drive, but as you say you have already checked the clock on the OCR service side.
Is the date / time difference exactly a month (same day, hour etc.) or just roughly? Do you have made some modifications to metadata extraction (which could result in modified date being read from PDF metadata)?

Regards
