Migrating from redhat to centos databases

i am trying to migrate all my content from 3.2 to 4.0d which is on a new server. is there a way to do this. what directories do i move over to the new server? how do i move all the users from the old server to the new server. i tried to follow the upgrade documentation but there was nothing about moving to new hardware . so any help would be excellent.

The steps to migrate are virtually the same as an upgrade. Follow the upgrade process defined here http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/General_Upgrade_Process and you may not have any problems.
