Make a query using url

Hi,

is it possible to make a query in Alfresco Share using url. I like to send a URL query from external application to Share a I need to directly see the findings which fulfilling the query.

Do you mean like:

http://localhost:8080/share/page/search?t=document
or
http://localhost:8080/share/page/site/site1/search?t=document&a=false

Note you need to supply "a=false" for the site-specific search. I realise this is a bit strange, but it's so you can swap to an "all sites" search from the same page.

I will store user-defined metadata for the document, so I need make a query using this metadata.
I mean something like this:

http://localhost:8080/share/page/search?object_name=hospital‍

and I want to receive all documents with metadata object name=hospital not the file name=hospital.

Sorry, not possible out-of-the-box. You'll have to customise the search pages and back-end.
