Hi all, thank you for reading my post.

Although it is quite easy to implement a new web form in the Alfresco Web Client, following the tutorial WCM2_1-Product-Evaluation-Guide (i.e.: company-footer, press-release) or looking at the sample wsf 1.0 in extras-wcm (i.e.: article, motd, potd, news-flash, multi-media, etc.),
I didn't find anything that easily permit to search and modify the published contents.
For what I have seen in the samples, it seems that there is no way: the publisher have to know where to find his old article in the directory tree (i.e. the old xml file) and than modify it.

Is this a lack of the architecture or am I missing something?

Bye,
Vincenzo

No you are not missing anything - Search is not present in the WCM in 2.0 and only available via JavaScript/FreeMarker API calls in 2.1.

However Smiley Happy we are currently in the progress of adding a search UI to WCM!

Thanks,

Kevin
