Like-Architecture Migration

I've abandoned upgrading and migrating my Solaris SPARC v2.1.0 (112) Enterprise Edition installation, and have instead chosen to migrate the existing installation to newer hardware.  However, I cannot seem to make it past a license initialization error that is preventing the application from completing its startup.  I've removed the .installed extension from the license file (that I purchased years ago), but it seems to ignore that.  What must I do to complete this migration?  Thank you.

You need a license for the enterprise version you are upgrading to.   Or you need to upgrade to a more recent community version.

Thanks for the reply.  I'm not trying to upgrade at this point.  I'm just moving the current 2.1.0 Enterprise Edition installation from one SPARC Solaris system to another, newer piece of hardware.  This installation has been in production for around 6 years, so I can't recall whether or not the license is tied to a specific hostid.

I still cannot get Alfresco 2.1.0 (112) to load the license on the new hardware.  Is the license keyed to the hostid?  Does Alfresco 2.1.0 stash some information about the license elsewhere after it reads it and renames it with the .installed extension?  Thank you.
