Good Morning guys

We have been using Alfresco as our Content Management tool for our company (small company of 5 people) but now that we are growing and have new projects in mind we would like to install and implement an ERP system.
However the ideal situation would be getting the Alfresco System as Content Management software integrated with our ERP system. As we did not have decided yet the ERP system, does anybody have any suggestion about what would it be the best ERP software to integrate with Alfresco?

Did someone got an integration like this  for their company or any customer? if so how did you do it? is there any documentation for this? Sharing your experiences will be very appreciated by us  Smiley Happy

Thanks a lot in advance

Hi,
we've developed an SAP ArchiveLink Adapter to connect Alfresco and SAP via SAP Archive Link Interface:
http://www.fme.de/index.php?eID=tx_nawsecuredl&u=0&file=fileadmin/PDF_en/datasheets/Datasheet_Archiv...
This enables your SAP installation to save documents in an Alfresco Content Repository, e.g. invoices or HR documents.
Alfresco can act here as simple Content Store or more complex as DMS where you reuse content generated by SAP in your DMS and perhaps publish them in am intranet portal application.

We have been utilizing Alfresco as our Content Management tool as well but recently we came across a new technology which may help us to create far better ERP for our company. But as we are not sure whether it is gonna work or not, I'll share about it later in my post.

Hi jpfi

Thanks  a lot for your comment. Although SAP is quite an expensive ERP for us  Smiley Happy looks like a nice work and solution. I have tried to connect to the link you posted but I get an Access Denied error message. Was it difficult to implement the link to your ERP? do yo know about any other solution with other ERP system?

Cheers

Hi,
I've fixed the link…please try again.
Noop, I don't know other implementations, but I think that there are some other connectors for other ERPs.
The difficulty with SAP is that their Archive Link Interface isn't very easy and lightweight, therefore we have a parthership with KGS Software (http://www.kgs-software.com/).
