Hi All,

We have a requirement to integrate Amazon S3 as a file system with Alfresco.
Alfresco server is installed on Windows 7 32bit, where storage location is configured as dir.root = c:\Alfresco\alf_data
We want to use Amazon S3 as a system to to store data, instead of local file system.

Is there any plug-ins available ?

Can any one suggest how to achieve this ?

Many Thanks,

Sincerely

Hi Mrogers,

Thanks for reply, I have gone through the documentation of S3 implementation (http://docs.alfresco.com/4.1/concepts/S3content-intro.html).
According to the documentation, It is required that an Alfresco instance running on Amazon's Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2).

Can we integrate S3 directly? in the same way like we do with SAN/NFS etc.

Yes.

I don't agree with the ec2 requirement.   I've given feedback to docs that I think it's misleading.

I have alfresco running on windows7 with s3 as the content store.  And afaik we benchmark alfresco on real servers with the s3 store.
