Installation problem

Hello,

   I downloaded and installed the AlfrescoCummunity-2.9.0B-Setup.exe; No complaints there. Now, when I click the alfresco short cut. the command prompt window shows up and displays the following:

Then, ImageConvertor application box shows up.
http://localhost:8080/ is working. But, neither is its manager nor its status.

So, I grab the war package, un-install alfresco, download Tomcat and install it manually, and it works fine. When I attempt to start the deployed war file, it hangs waiting for a couple of hours and then it crashes.

    Anyone's help is greatly appreciated.

Look at your log. It says it can't find the indexes and content in your dir.root C:\Alfresco\alf_data

Alfresco stores the content files and full text indexes (Lucene) on the file system. For Tomcat this location is the <TOMCAT>\shared\classes\alfresco\extension\custom-repository.properties file.

Check the dir.root entry in this file and make sure it points to the correct location of your alf_data directory.

Maybe you have already resolve this problem, but want to post for others
CONTENT INTEGRITY ERROR may appears when the mistiming is happen between "alf_data" and DB. Clean "alf_data" and DB then start Alfresco again.
