Hi all, I'm new into this but I have to evaluate Alfresco for an implantation.
Is there any guide with the steps I have to follow to install the system?
I have search in this forum and Wiki but nothing complete.
Thanks tones

Hi,

There is a readme within each of the bundles that explains the few steps that need to be taken.

The easiest bundle to get going would be the Tomcat bundle.

Hi

The easiest and most self-contained way to try Alfresco is to use the installer downloads.  They are big because they contain everything needed (JDK, MySQL, Tomcat, Alfresco).  The MySQL and Tomcat can live alongside other installations.  The install is graphical, but can be done in command mode using '–mode text' after the installer name.

The installers have been updated recently to deal with a MySQL problem.

Cheers
Paul.
