How to extend the Calendar Model and Build a Personal calendar

According to my understanding, the calendar in site is for team, not for a specific user.
My first question is how to extend the Calendar Model, so that we can specify users in a calendar event.
My second question is, based on the extended model, how to create a calendar which only show the events associated with a selected user.

I think the first question is a key. Anybody please help?  Thanks in advance!

You can find calenderModel.xml under alfresco
<Alfresco_HOME>/tomcat/webapps/alfresco/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/Model/

You will see all related content types there.

Where can I find the calenderModel.xml in version 5.0. I'm using the Community Edition
