how to deploy a complete process?

hello, everyone. recently I start to get in touch with activiti, but I found it a tough bone~

all I know now is that I can run the demo by typing "ant demo.start" in the cmd window, but I really need to understand the process to run a real process.

first I had a bpmn20.xml file written to define my process, then I also write a java class using the process engine and test it. I just see the green light in the Eclipse, but what's next?? how can I make the process work in tomcat?? and assign a task to "kermit"??

Of course the first place to look is the userguide.
And if you need some help in getting started with Activiti I would recommend <advertisement alert!!> buying the Activiti in Action MEAP.

er…but in China this book is unavailable…I would wonder, if possible,should I connect eclipse with tomcat first and then test the examples??

what I want is to define the process in xml file, then write the deploy program, and try to test this in the "activiti-explorer" page, is that achievable ?? :lol:

You don't have to wait. You can buy it now already online and get chapters 1-12 electronically
