How to Change/Edit Repository Name

How do I change/edit the Repository Name?

I am running the Community Edition of Alfresco 5.0 using CMIS ATOM to connect to it through a third party Application. The Repository Name comes back "" (Empty) and I need it to have value in order for this 3rd party application to work.

I'm hoping this is an easy config file change (or if there's a SetRepositoryName() function??) but please let me know.

Thanks for the help!

Greg

Hello,

try setting the repository.name property in alfresco-global.properties

Thanks for the reply Axel

I tried that and also tried creating a repository.properties file with "repository.name=AlfrescoServer" (that I put in <configRoot>/classes/alfresco/). Neither solution worked (i.e. the name did not get picked up once I restarted the server

So my new solution is to downgrade to Alfresco 4.2 where the name is set and work with that version.

Hopefully there is a solution for 5.0 version
