How to change Alfresco share webpage name

Right name of now my alfresco share webpage is in this format: http://ip address of the alfresco server:8080/share/page. I want to change the format to http://name of the server:8080/share/page. What do I have to do for that?

You usually give that information at the beginning of the install.

or go to the alfresco-global.properties file and edit the following:

alfresco.host=your FQDN
alfresco.share=your FQDN

I also changed the port number to 80 and alfresco host and share name to my server name (FQDN). When I start alfresco share it still shows the old ip address format.

Then it sounds like a DNS issue. Have you made the entry?
