Hoe to send confirmation email??

I have just started learning Alfresco and for that I am practicing coding right now. I was wondering how can we set the email confirmation. I mean can anyone give me the coading needed to send a confirmation email to user when he/she register??

It would be better if you can detail the requirement.

To see a sample implementation perspective provided out of the box:  try to import/create a new content , alfresco will ask you at the last step if you want to notify other people.
Research on the module that implements this behavior.Hopefully it will help you get get an idea of the configuration.
