Help is needed Windows AD SSO

I am using windows server 2008 and in a domain with two directory controllers running windows server 2003.
On the windows server 2008 machine, I have alfresco 4.2.0 community edition installed.
How can I configure windows authentication for alfresco share and alfresco explorer using authentication against active directory.
The alfresco help document have very little example and looks confusing.
Can any body tell me how to find some example configuration?
