Extended stencils: save it to bpmn2 file

Hi.
i've successfully extended the stencilset of BPMN2.0 grammar adding a new task with some properties.
now, when i'm going to save the file it is stored as .signavio.xml and no file exists with the extension bpmn2.xml.
i guess this is because my new stencilset is an extension of the BPMN2.0 stencil and i haven't write the translation for the new task that i've added.

but:
how can I do that?
what i've to extend and where?

I think you can better ask this in the signavio forum/list. They know best how their application works. Might be that someone here knows, but not sure…
