Data filter for my custom datalist

Hello Alfrescians,

I'm using Alfresco quite some time now, and I've been searching for a way to put a filter option to my custom datalist, I want that each field in my datalist has a filter function so that searching data will be easier. I know that this is possible because I have read some plug-ins that worked but only to older versions, Is there an article that you can recommend in implementing this? I'm using Alfresco Community 5.1 Edition.

And also, I observed that before the add-o,n when editing in datalist a modal pops-up, now after the alvex add-on, it brings me to a new tab in my browser. Is this normal?

Additional question, do I have to modify something in my custom datalist xml and custom datalist-context xml?, because before the add-on was implemented I have 11 fields in a datalist, now after the add-on was added I only have 10.

May I know what you did to your custom datalist?

I'm not sure if I understood your problem.

Where do you see 10 fields?

Are you talking about the creation form? Edit form? Datagrid?

All of those are configurable in a type basis.

Originally the fields available in the datagrid is 11 (PO Number, Invoice Number, DDR Number, Supplier Name, Payment Terms, Status, Attachments, Comments, Date Created, Date Modified, Actions), now after the add-on, the datagrid available is 10 (PO Number, Invoice Number, DDR Number, Supplier Name, Payment Terms, Status, Attachments, Comments, Date Created, Actions).

Also In Edit Form (editing a data in the datalist) it takes me to another tab, the modal function is I think broken. Take a look at the before and after image below.
