custom doc lib action and custom content model

Hi guys,
I added the doc lib action for send as email as described in http://ecmstuff.blogspot.com.au/2012/04/adding-document-library-actions-in.html
by Martin Bergljung…
then I added a custom content model as described by Jeff Potts in ecmarchitect.com/images/articles/alfresco-content/content-article-2ed.pdf
Now the custom content model appears on Alfresco but the doc lib action disappears….Does that have anything to do with having 2 different share-config-custom files or something else?
how can this be resolved?

Yes that is the problem one file will override another.
You need to merge both the files.
