Creating Workflow using java API

I have implemented workflow using JBPM and Javascript.I want to know
Is there is any way to create a workflow using java api?
Please provide some inputs on this.

I know that you can use java-backed webscripts to do this.

Me too I'd like to know that capability because there aren't examples online…

What about a new wiki??? I think workflows are now very important for Alfresco… and the documentation is too old and poor…

By create do you mean the processdefinition.xml file or deployment from java or the management of workflow from java. I've been working on workflows for sometime. If you're a little specific may be I could help. A problem statement could be helpful
