Hi,

Currently online editing of documents work fine using sharepoint.

My problem is when you want to create a new document from say MS Word and try to save it using sharepoint. I keep getting a "Upload failed" error.

We are running Alfresco 5.0d Community with MySQL as backend on CentOS 6.7. The test were done using MS Word 2013

On closer inspection with vti log level set to info the only error line is the following:

2015-09-21 09:44:54,853 INFO  [org.alfresco.module.vti.web.VtiRequestDispatcher] [199489492@qtp-1000285331-2] Note - no handler was found for PUT to uri='/permtest/documentLibrary/test.doc'

I also tried copying a file directly to a sharepoint map with the same error.

Please advise

Regards

Carl

If you are not authenticated into alfresco after creating your new document then you would have to do so.

In M$ Office/word

File/Save As

In the "File Name" Box type in

https://FQDN.yourdomain.etc:7070/alfresco

Make sure that your firewall is not blocking this port and also this is the default port you are using in alfersco for the sharepoint protocol.

Once you click enter it will navigate to this url. Then from there it will want authentication. Then its just a matter of going to which site/folder tree you want to save in.

My Alfresco is setup to authenticate directly to the AD. This does work because after accessing the link as above, I can then browse to the site and path where I want to save the document.

I can also create a new folder, just not actually save the new document.

The error above is just after pressing the "save" button.

@cbwerner,

Hmm….that is interesting….

Can you save the file to your desktop or where ever and then drag/drop into alfresco in the designated place you want to save it?

I mapped a drive in Windows Explorer using Sharepoint and dragged and dropped a file directly to this share. I then get the same error as above. Weird thing is I can create new folders and also edit existing documents from this mapped drive.

what about mapping the drive like this….

\\your.fqdn.com@SSL\DavWWWRoot\Alfresco
