Hi All,

Is there any way to change the default dashboard and have it appear as the changed version for all users when they first log on??

Also, can I change the options that appear on the Getting started part of the dashboard??

Thanks

No at present there is no config for this. It is something I'd really like to get in for 2.1 but it all depends on priorities… Currently the only realistic way to change the defaults is to change what dashlets are configured for the two that all users see on first login. The have the IDs of 'getting-started' and 'tasks-todo'. The dashlets that use those IDs can be changed or overriden in the config - that is about all you can do for now: http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/User_Configurable_Dashboards

So if you override the config on your system for the dashboards and change the JSP for the Getting Started Dashlet (in \jsp\dashboards\dashlets\getting-started.jsp) then it will work, but it's not very future proof.

Thanks,

Kevin
