Cannot access site

Hi,
I can't seem to be able to access the site that i just created.

Here is what i did:

1. I customized my dashboard
2. I created a site, added a wiki page.
3. I see the new site in my dashboard. I can browse it and can see what's in it.
4. After a while(about 3 minutes later), when i click on the site in My Sites, it wouldn't take me to the site. It just stays in the same page(Dashboard)
5. I logout, close the browser and login again. I still have the same problem. I can't get to the site anymore.
 
I looked at catalina.out and found this error.

I'm using Alfresco Enterprise Edition 3.0 SP1 and am running it on port 8115. I made changes to the configuration files as suggested in Wiki.

This happened to me too with a site.  I created it, made a wiki, invited users, removed the blog tab.  Worked fine for an hour or so then it just kept going back to the user dashboard.  I played around with the URL trying to get to it and found I could get to the site sections just not the dashboard.  Then it just worked again.  Weird.  I changed no settings the dashboard just suddenly worked after trying different URL's.  This is a slightly old post, is this happening to others?

Running on Ubuntu 9.10 with the ppa install.

I have been having similar problems.  We are using  Alfresco Community Edition 3.2 on a CentOS 5 box.  Alfresco is configured to be accessed via an Apache pass through on https: (via a self signed certificate).
A number of sites have been configured and occasionally one of them will become inaccessible, i.e., clicking its link in "My Sites" will just refresh users' dashboard page.
Typically, it resolves itself after a short period, but it is not predictable.  Any resolutions would be appreciated.

I have also seen this behaviour. Nothing appears in catalina.out (but I haven't got debug set up). The behaviour is fixed after about 5 minutes.
The redirect to the user dashboard is the normal behaviour for an unknown Share URL.

Is it possibly related that the connection "Keep-alive" header is set to 300, i.e. about 6 minutes ? Maybe a malformed JSON response is getting cached for the duration of the backend connection, or something. I was a little too late to set Firebug on it…

Got it again and found this by going to /share/page/site/mysite/customise-site-dashboard
As always it fixes itself in about 5 minutes.  I was inviting users before it happened.  Spectacular timing, hey check out alfresco….great product right?

Finally I figured out how to reproduce this bug!  Not sure if there is a quicker way.  I let my browser sit at a alfresco site for a long time, until my login expires.  Then click on the dashboard so the page reloads, this put me at the login prompt as it should.  Now when I log in however the site is broken for 5 minutes.  The site is still broken for other people too.  Can anyone else reproduce this way?  I filed a bug report

To work around I enabled guest login and the problem went away.  Yay.

It looks a lot like this issue, which should have been fixed by now:

You might want to comment on that issue to get it reopened if the problem is still there.
