Can't delete a file

We are having an issue wherein we are unable to delete a specific file. When attempting to delete it from 'share', we get this error message:

<strong> Could not delete [filename.xls] </strong>

When we try to delete it via the administrator console, we get this error:

<strong> Please correct the errors below then click OK.

    Unable to delete File due to system error: 0102414042 Unable to find: VLqyrH9xRkq8CyvU4_O0HQ </strong>

We are using: Version: Community - v4.2.0 (4576)

Any idea/suggestions on how I can resolve?

any errors in logs?
does that file have any associations? any custom property with constrains applied on?

I am still rather new to Alfresco. How do I check the pertinent logs?

You can check logs in <TOMCAT_HOME>/logs folder under your alfresco installation.
