I can't seem to find any information either in the forums, Alfresco website or web searches as to what happened Alfresco Team. Has this product been discontinued / replaced by Alfresco Cloud? http://team.alfresco.com now redirects to the Cloud offering so this seems to be the case.
Current Alfresco Team customers are still being supported, but, as you saw, new Alfresco Team inquiries are being directed to Alfresco Cloud.
From a software functionality perspective, Alfresco Team is the same software as Alfresco Enterprise–it is just licensed differently to make it more accessible to departmental and SMB clients.
