One question, it's possible to upload with AAAR_Publish.sh documents on Alfresco's Repository based on "New Version" of latest pdf document?

Name of PDF Document is the same…maybe yes or no?

I cannot understand what you request from the publisher about the versions and name of documents.

When I execute AAAR_Publish, AAAR collect all informs of ALFRESCO Stats in Pentaho and copy to my ALFRESCO Platform (I have 1 srv with Pentahoo+AAAR and other server with ALFRESCO)

Exactly, AAAR_Publish copy all PDF documents to Repository…ok!! Perfect!!

But…


If I execute at next day AAAR_Publish, AAAR collect news informs of ALFRESCO Stats in Pentaho and copy this PDF files to my ALFRESCO Repository…but overwrite the older PDF files, I don't have version 2.0 of PDF file…I have only one version, the last version.


And my question is…It's possible append new pdf files like new version 1.1 or 2.0 to make history of pdf files.

Hi Emilio,

Thank you for the explanation.
Your use case is interesting.

What you would like to develop could be done directly inside Alfresco.

The AAAR publisher has the goal to upload (static) reports directly inside a folder: a sort of dropzone.
Please, note that you can set the AAAR_Publish to upload every different document in a different dropzone.
For example: you can upload the "top ten user" report in the dropzone A and the "repository dimension" in the dropzone B…

With this feature, you could set all the different dropzones with different rules, in the way you probably know, using the Alfresco capabilities.
For example: you could set one dropzone A with the versioning of the reports  (what you are probably asking for) and the the dropzone B with an email to the end users and the copy in different sites/folders/user homes… and so on.

My suggestion is to develop the ECM customizations directly in Alfresco and the reports/dashboardsanalysis customizations in the BI solution (Pentaho and AAAR).

Thanks for your support!…Finally I edited AAAR_Publish like you said in your post.

Every day I create on "ISO" folder, another folder with date_day in the name folder, it's automatic after the backup process every night.
Two hours after this process AAAR_Publish execute and copy all PDF files to this new folder like you commented me about different dropzones.

But when click on reports in alfresco it is asking pentaho username and password, i need to show reports without asking pentaho username and password .
