a workflow as a reminder

Hi there,
is there any possibility to create a workflow, which works as reminder?
actually  I need a workflow to run automatically (with the help of a rule) in the fist day of each month. it's more like a reminder for all, to upload a report at the end of the month. if it can be done without a workflow, and there is a better and simpler solution, please help me out!

You can configure a scheduled action (http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Scheduled_Actions) to start a simple workflow at the start of every month and assign it to the relevant users.

I have read that, but I don't understand, where should I save that files?

There is a sample file included with the default Alfresco installation called "scheduled-action-services-context.xml.sample".

With regards to more information on the SimpleWorkflowAction you are going to have to read the source code.

thank you again for your rely!
I still have one problem, which is, i dont know where should i save this file! the one you said is an example.
for examle, for saving a model, we upload it in Data Dictionary> Model space! is there any space for that?
the given information in that link, is very dumb. i really dont get it!  :cry:
