Use of this area

Hi All,

This message area should be used by the community to share how we are using alfresco. Think of this as show 'n tell for your project. 

The types of information we think people will find interesting are (but not limited to):

As stated, this forums is for posting information on how you use Alfresco in your workplace.

Any posts that are not about "How you use Alfresco" in your work place will either be moved to the correct forum, or will be removed.

The 80's just called - they want their joke back. :wink:

This forum has long since passed the "clean up-able" stage. Part of the problem is the translation of "How I Use Alfresco" for non-native English speakers.

Has any thought been given to renaming the forum? My suggestion would be "Alfresco User Stories", which might not be misinterpreted as easily (and being a non-native English speaker, I ought to know what I'm talking about  ).

I believe that this could be an interesting and inspiring part of the forum, but I can easily understand how the current title might be mistaken.

Regarding "Clean Up" - sometimes it should be translated with "Clean Cut" 🙂

This forum should indeed be renamed.

A large proportion of users come to this forum because there is no information available in their own language.
They come because they want to know how to use Alfresco, and "How I use Alfresco" sounds like the perfect place to ask, to anyone but a native speaker.

Most of the questions are otherwise legitimate, so doing a "clean cut" would be a regrettable loss of information.
"Alfresco User Stories" sounds good indeed.
