SSO between portal and Alfresco

Hello,

I need help
we are running alfresco on IDS LDAP and Websphere Portal on the same IDS LDAP.
All we need now is SSO between Websphere Portal and Alfresco.

Does anybody have an idea on how to do this?

Should this work with an LTPA token?
Or do I have to use a other SSO authentication method?

Hi

We do not support LTPA tokens. If there is some generic web filter that can validate such a thing then it should be possible to wire it up.

I am interested in knowing a bit more about configuring SSO between WebSphere Portal and Alfresco. If Alfresco is hosted on WebSphere Application Server 6.1.0.7 (which I believe is a supported server) then I am curious as to why LTPA would not be supported since it is an IBM solution that basically lets the target WAS decrypt the LTPA token using a key shared by the source WAS (i.e. Portal).

And please share any other ideas you may have regarding alternative solutions to realize SSO (between WebSphere Portal and Alfresco).

I am also wondering if the Enterprise version offers anything in this regard (support for LTPA) that the Community version does not.
