Hello,

I am pleased to announce the 1.0.0 release of the OpenOffice.org plugin for Alfresco.
The plugin can be downloaded on the Alfresco Forge at http://forge.alfresco.com/projects/ooo-plugin/.

Looking for an easy way to integrate OpenOffice.org and Alfresco? This plugin is what you need! It offers exactly the same functionality and user experience as the Alfresco Plugin for MS Office.

The OpenOffice plugin is meant to be a cross-platform, one-to-one port of the Alfreco plugin for
MS Office. It uses the same architecture (light-weight plugin with server-side webscripts for most functionality) and
features an identical user interface.

The plugin has been tested on Windows XP and Debian Etch Linux, in combination with OpenOffice.org 2.3.x or 2.4.0 and Alfresco 2.1.1 Enterprise.
It's available in German and English, more languages will follow.

We'll be monitoring your questions and feedback on the plugin's project forum.

Best regards,
Roeland.

I tried on OpenOffice 3.1 win XP with Alfresco 3 stable, and it doesn't seem to work.
Installs ok, but then an error : Web Script Status 404 - Not found.
