OOTB Feature in Activiti

Hi,
Sorry i dont know how to post question at the same time in User and developer Group. I asked this in developer group as well. Help me with this…….


I was doing a features study of Activiti and found many things which seems missing or not documented.
I was unable to find some of the key features / offerings in Activiti which every standard BPM tools provides. I searched the document and didnt found any thing which says / tells about these OOTB features or workaround of these features in Activiti.
I just wanted to know if they are "OOTB features" or "Currently not possible to do in Activiti" or "Can be done with custom code."

The features which is was interested in was :
1. Data Modelling
2. KPI Metrics
3. SLA Management
4. Process Collaboration
5. Case Management
6. Process Improvement/Optimization
7. Forms/UI Capabilities
8. Mobilie Enablement
9. Business Analytics
10. Social Integration
11. Security Features
12. Compliance Ready

*OOTB = Out Of The Box
Please help me with this. Any kind of help is appreciated .

Lemme try to answer your questions.

1. Data Modelling - Version 1.5 has data model included OOTB. This is the initial version and I'm expecting it to evolve significantly in the subsequent versions. Please see https://docs.alfresco.com/activiti/docs/user-guide/1.5.0/#_data_models & https://docs.alfresco.com/activiti/docs/dev-guide/1.5.0/#_custom_data_models for more details.
2. KPI Metrics - Some available OOTB through the Analytics/Reports module. More customized reports can be done with custom code.
3. SLA Management - OOTB/Can be done with custom code. Task Level SLA can be viewed via Analytics/Reports module. More custom reports can be developed by following the guidelines at https://docs.alfresco.com/activiti/docs/dev-guide/1.5.0/#_custom_reports.
4. Process Collaboration - OOTB.
5. Case Management - Not available in current version, however I believe this is in pipeline. Dynamic/Ad-Hoc sub-process support in Activiti V6 will address case management scenarios.
6. Process Improvement/Optimization - could you please explain a little bit more on what exactly you looking for?
7. Forms/UI Capabilities - OOTB. 8. Mobile Enablement - As far as I know, native Android and IOS Apps are under development.
9. Business Analytics - OOTB through analytics module. More custom solutions can be built using the event data available in the Activiti Elastic Search instance or Activiti Database.
10. Social Integration - Depending on what you looking for, this is achievable with custom code.
11. Security Features - OOTB. Please check https://docs.alfresco.com/activiti/docs/dev-guide/1.5.0/ & https://docs.alfresco.com/activiti/docs/admin-guide/1.5.0 if you are looking for some very specific security features.
12. Compliance Ready - I would say OOTB. However, more details required to answer this question more precisely.

6. Process Improvement/Optimization - could you please explain a little bit more on what exactly you looking for?
Does Activiti provides insight which help in improving running Process for optimizing. How Business activity monitoring works in Activiti. Does Activiti has BAM mechanism.
