New Field in Alfresco database table.

Hi,

Can anybody tell me whether I can put a new field(Column) in my alfresco database table or do I have to make a new table with the field added.

If I have to make a new table then do I have to make changes in Hibernate i.e prepare new classes for the new table.

I want to store some extra information regarding the user I create.

like his address, phone number etc.

What approach should be followed.
