Hi!

I tried to get my AD users into Alfresco.
I set up a configfile at

/opt/alfresco/tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/extension/subsystems/Authentication/ldap-ad/ldap1

Please note that
ldap.authentication.java.naming.provider.url is set to "ldap://192.168.0.20:389"

Funny is this line:

Then if I change the port to something wrong and reboot I get a timeout message on the right server!

I put local as host in my /etc/hosts and pointed it to 192.168.0.20.
Now with slightly modified queries I can import the groups and users into alfresco…
