Implementation of login ticket validator

Hi all,
Can somebody give me some direction on where to find the implementation of the webscript login ticket validator?
I can find the loginticket.get.desc.xml and loginticket.get.xml.ftl but no backend implementation.

The class is: org.alfresco.repo.web.scripts.bean.LoginTicket

It lives in the remote-api project.
