Does the CMS support a folder as a content item?

I want to save a folder as a content item in order to upload or download the whole fold and think of it as a content. Can I do it besides creating a space?

You can do it using the import capability (e.g. importing and expanding a complete zip file).

Also you can upload complete folders using the FTP and the CIFS interfaces.
