Hi team,
Currently i'm trying to implement workflows in alfresco.
No problrm with simple workflow management.
As part of Advanced workflow i found two ways.
i.e "Adhoc Task (Assign task to colleague)" and  "Review & Approve (Review & approval of content)"
But i didn't found any differnce between these two.
can anyone explain me the difference between these two. And i want to make a custom workflow.
Can anyone suggest me how to do that. Any links and sugessions are helpful.

thanks for your support.

Regards,
Ganesh.

Hi Mike,
Whatever you have given the link is taking me through the workflow process and working functionality.
Now i'm cleared with simple workflow and advanced workflow.
But i'm getting the little bit confusion in Advanced workflow. Because there are two types of Advanced workflows are there
in the labs 3.0 stable version "Adhoc Task (Assign task to colleague)" and "Review & Approve (Review & approval of content)". I didn't find any difference while passing the parameters for both the workflows(Advanced).
i want the difference between these two workflows.

thanks for your support MIKE.

The easiest thing to do in these cases is to look at the workflow definitions.

You can see that "Review and Approve" contains a couple of states - it's designed to be assigned to someone and then the "approve" or "reject" transition returns it to the initiator.

The "Adhoc Task" contains just one transition: "completed", which optionally sends an email to the initiator.

Thanks,
Mike
